Chocolate Walnut Date Bites

 
 

These bites are the perfect satisfying treat, naturally sweetened with dates and packed with plant-based goodness. Walnuts bring helpful omega-3 fats, while tahini adds creamy richness and a little plant protein, all coated in antioxidant-rich dark chocolate. They’re quick to make, energising, and a simple way to add nuts, seeds and fibre to your day. Ideal as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, a lunchbox snack or something delicious to keep in the freezer for when you fancy a little boost.

Ingredients


20 dates

100g walnuts

100g dark chocolate

2 tbsp of tahini


Method


1.

Add walnuts and dates in a food processor until all mixed and combined

2.

Take to a surface and shape with your hands dividing in two parts

3.

Make four rolls and roll into sesame seeds. Stick two rolls together shaping a canal in the middle.

4.

Add melted chocolate in the canal and a drizzle of tahini.

5.

Freeze until set and cut into bites.
