These crackers are made entirely from seeds, creating a satisfyingly crisp texture with a rich, nutty flavour—no flour required. Chia and flax act as natural binders while also delivering fibre and omega-3s, while sunflower and pumpkin seeds add crunch along with a boost of healthy fats and minerals.

  • 1/3 cup chia seeds (60g)

  • 1/3 cup flax seeds (60g)

  • 1 cup boiling water (250ml)

  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds (60g)

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds (60g)

  • 1 tsp sea salt

  • Black pepper

  • 1 tsp dried rosemary

  • 1 tbsp olive oil


Method


1. Add the chia, flax and water to a large bowl and mix well.

2. Leave for 10 mins to thicken

3. Preheat the oven to 180 C (160C fan) or 350 F.

4. Add all the other ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly.

5. Press down into a large lined baking tray.

6. Bake for 50 mins. Allow to cool until hard and then break into crackers.
