Easter Egg Tray Bake

 
 

The perfect treat to celebrate Easter, seasonal and super fun! Perfect to involve kids while making, and perfect for sharing with friends and family. Another great thing is that these brownies are suitable for any dietary requirements!

Ingredients


1 tablespoon chia seeds 4 tablespoons of water 250g flour 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 60g cacao powder 200g brown sugar 200ml almond milk 130mg coconut oil or vegetable oil Mini chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies


Method


1.
Preheat oven at 180C. Stir chia seeds and water, set aside for 15 min.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cacao powder, and sugar.

Add the chia seeds, almond milk and oil. Mix together until ingredients are well combined and a moist batter forms (add more milk if needed).

4.
Spread the batter out in the line baking dish, add mini chocolate eggs, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until edges are crisp and knife comes out clean.

5.

Let cool and add extra chocolate eggs (if they sink while baking) and chocolate bunnies in the top.
